A co-founding principal of Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc., Bryan Kenny has 23 years’ experience in commercial real estate mortgage broker origination, underwriting, and servicing. He possesses deep expertise as a service-oriented mortgage banker focused on tailored debt solutions to meet clients’ investment strategies while delivering quality loans with excellent sponsors to life lenders in particular. Bryan is renowned for his relationship-oriented approach to providing capital solutions and has developed extensive life company lender relationships over more than two decades in the industry. He is lauded for his expertise in mortgage lending, real estate economics, and loans.

Following a nine-year career in filmmaking and development, Bryan switched gears and founded Green River Funding in January 2000. The firm served as a commercial real estate broker originating loans on multifamily and other commercial real estate properties throughout Southern California directly to banks and CMBS lenders. After two years leading the company, he joined Sunrise Mortgage & Investment Company, where he spent the next 20 years honing his skill set as a vice president, senior vice president and regional manager. As partner, Bryan was responsible for the origination, underwriting and servicing of commercial real estate loans for the company’s institutional lenders throughout three Southern California offices. During his tenure there, he originated over $1 billion despite the Great Recession and COVID pandemic, was consistently in the top percentile of loan producers companywide in annual loan volume origination, and set a 40-year firm history record by producing the most fee income in 2020 and then again in 2021.

A graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and minors in Theater and German Studies, Bryan lives in Los Angeles, California. In his spare time, he has served in numerous philanthropic capacities for many years, including as an annual fund co-chairman and volunteer for Wildwood School, an individual school board member for Alliance College-Ready Public School, a club soccer team manager for FCLA, a youth soccer head coach for AYSO Region 70, and a youth baseball head coach for WLA Little League.

A co-founding principal of Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc., William James has 11 years’ experience in capital advisory. During the course of his career, he has served as an analyst or originator in over $1 billion in commercial real estate mortgages, $530 million of this between 2020 and 2023 alone. William applies a unique and effective combination of tremendous experience, organization, and deal-making energy to identify tailored solutions to clients’ capital needs.

William became interested in real estate as a child while observing the booming Santa Barbara, California market, desiring to combine this interest with his natural talents in math. During college, he held summer internships at a commercial real estate mortgage banking company and a property management/real estate development company in Santa Barbara. Pivoting to mortgage banking as a better fit for his skill set, William moved to another firm in Los Angeles and spent the first 10 years of his career with that company, advancing from analyst to junior loan officer to loan officer in just six years before establishing Bandon Capital Advisors with five other principals in May 2022.

Originally from Santa Barbara, William earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. A resident of Los Angeles for more than 14 years, he now lives with his wife in San Pedro. In his spare time, William enjoys tennis, basketball, running, hiking, guitar, and keyboard.

Kamron Aghevli is a Co-Founder and Partner of Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc. and has been an active commercial mortgage banker in Southern California since 2004. Mr. Aghevli is currently responsible for loan production and management of the firm’s Pasadena location.

Kamron has been consistently recognized as a top producer with his correspondent lenders, arranging over $1 billion in loan production throughout his career. He continues to serve clients ranging from institutional entities to individual investors. Mr. Aghevli experience structuring perm, bridge, and construction debt between $1 million and +$100 million nationwide.

Mr. Aghevli is a cum laude graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance. He is active member of International Council for Shopping Centers (ICSC), Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) and USC’s Lusk Center for Real Estate. Kamron is a long-serving volunteer coach and referee for AYSO. He enjoys playing music, staying active, and trying to keep up with his wife and two sons.

A co-founding principal of Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc., Rick Brignolo has more than 20 years of experience originating loans through life companies, CMBS, banks, credit unions, credit tenant lease (CTL), and private sources. During Bandon’s early days, he took an active role in pioneering the new company’s loan servicing platform and opening the San Luis Obispo office. Coupled with his deep market knowledge, the strong relationships Rick has cultivated within lenders’ origination, closing, and servicing teams continue to pay dividends for Bandon’s clients.

Rick began his commercial mortgage banking career in 1999 with Sunrise Mortgage & Investment Company, where he served for 23 years before teaming up to establish Bandon in 2022. During his career, he has been lauded by StanCorp (Standard Insurance) as a top producer of new loans. With extensive experience in financing a breadth of property types including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, self-storage, and mobile-home parks, he is an expert on Central and Southern California markets, particularly the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Central Coast, and San Joaquin Valley. Rick specializes in permanent fixed-rate financing and has a solid background in bridge, construction, and equity placements.

Born and raised in Napa, California, Rick earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He remains active with his alma mater, serving on the Mustang Athletic Fund Board of Directors since 2014. Rick lives in San Luis Obispo with his wife and children.

Kevin Petit is a co-founding principal of Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc. He began his mortgage banking career in 1994 with Sunrise Mortgage & Investment Company in San Luis Obispo, California. Over the course of 29 years’ experience in commercial mortgage banking, underwriting, and servicing with the same firm, he became Vice President and eventually a partner.

Before co-founding Bandon Capital Advisors, Kevin did over $1 billion in loan production secured by office, retail, apartment, mobile home park and hospitality properties throughout California and the greater Southwest. Kevin has developed a niche in creating value for his clients in debt placement through a variety of correspondent life insurance and CMBS sources. He prides himself on a “hands-on” approach to commercial mortgage banking, matching investor needs with the best capital opportunities available.

Kevin graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He currently resides in San Luis Obispo, California with his wife and three daughters. He is actively involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters locally as well as CURE International.

A co-founding principal of Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc., Francis Winfield has 24 years’ experience in commercial real estate mortgage loan origination. As manager of the company’s San Diego office, he applies his extensive knowledge of capital markets and arranges tailored debt and equity solutions to ensure his clients meet their investment goals. Dedicated to offering the highest level of service, commitment, and attention to clients regardless of deal size or type of transaction, Francis ensures the entire Bandon team is focused on delivering first-class service throughout the origination, funding, and servicing phases of every loan.

Francis began his real estate career in 1999 as an analyst at Sunrise Mortgage & Investment Company, a privately held mortgage banking firm in Southern California, before progressing to a loan originator in 2002. He spent the next 20 years at the company, seasoning his skills in loan production, as a precursor to establishing Bandon Capital Advisors with his co-founders. Throughout his years in the industry, Francis has been involved in the origination of over $1 billion in commercial real estate debt placement across all asset types including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hotel, self-storage, senior housing, student housing, credit tenant properties, and land—and for all stages of the investment cycle. He is adept at nurturing relationships with capital sources including life insurance companies, agencies, credit unions, international and domestic banks, debt funds, and CMBS investment banks.

Francis possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. He lives in San Diego with his wife and two sons; enjoys traveling, road and mountain biking, and hiking; and is an avid fisherman. An accomplished drummer and percussionist, Francis is also a passionate baseball enthusiast and has been a perennial volunteer coach for his sons’ Little League teams over the last 15 years.

An accomplished loan servicing professional with 23 years of experience in the commercial mortgage industry, Steffani Tucker has deep expertise in the managerial, organizational, and supervisory aspects of the sector. During the course of her career, she has closed and supervised the closing of over $1.4 billion in loans. Her wide-ranging background includes closing processes, review of third-party reports, team management, due diligence review, loan document review, negotiation, and loss mitigation. Steffani joined Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc. in 2022, where she is responsible for overseeing and managing all loan servicing and loan administration functions; designing a loan servicing platform, including supervising software implementation, developing operational plans, and outlining best practices; and directing annual and quarterly inspections and reporting based on lender requirements and deadlines. She is adept at accommodating client requests in a timely manner, managing multiple requests simultaneously, and establishing trusted relationships with clients.

Steffani spent 22 years as a department manager in commercial loan administration for American Fidelity Assurance Company’s national commercial real estate lending department, where she oversaw a portfolio of $600 million. In addition to managing 30 mortgage brokers in 37 states, Steffani mitigated the portfolio’s exposure to potential losses to ensure continued strong performance and developed department-level disaster recovery plans and procedures. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she directed loan modification processes for clients and developed heightened surveillance procedures to ensure all loans were performing to expectations.

A resident of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Steffani holds a Master’s degree in Business Management/Leadership from Mid America Christian University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership with a Business Administration emphasis from the University of Central Oklahoma, and an Associate in Arts degree from Rose State College. She is a member of Mortgage Bankers Association who has served on the MBA Services Council and has completed numerous volunteer activities for such organizations as United Way, as well as for multiple leadership and executive coaching programs, camps, summits, teams, and conferences.

A key member of the Bandon Capital Advisors, Inc. team since its inception, Jessica Hara has over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of mortgage lending including retail and wholesale mortgage banking. Her multi-faceted résumé, which encompasses GSE and conventional underwriting, loan analysis, compliance, servicing, and corporate training, has informed her seasoned approach to finance. Jessica’s impressive skill set spans providing superior customer service and effectively closing commercial real estate transactions while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, lenders, third-party vendors, and her teammates.

Before joining Bandon, Jessica served as a loan closer with a privately held commercial mortgage banking firm. She has a long track record of producing a very high number of monthly underwritten loans with virtually 100% accuracy. On numerous occasions throughout her career, Jessica has been awarded for outstanding performance as the highest loan officer producer in the region. She holds extensive experience in managing operations, compliance, underwriting, and funding departments; has achieved the status of Bank of America certified corporate trainer; and boasts a successful history of performance in all areas of servicing. In addition, Jessica’s retail lending and servicing tenure have honed her expertise in this sector.

A Southern California native who has also lived in Oregon and Washington, Jessica resides in the Santa Monica and Mar Vista (West Los Angeles) area with her husband and has two adult children and two grandchildren. She enjoys volunteering, gardening, spending time with her family, deep sea fishing, and painting.

Paul Audette brings over 15 years of mortgage, title, and appraisal review experience to Bandon Capital Advisors, most recently having spent over six years with First Republic Bank directly supporting high-performing loan teams in Los Angeles through a period of record volume and growth. He is excited to bring his deep lending support, knowledge of the Los Angeles market, and underwriting experience to Bandon Capital Advisors to best serve the firm and its clients.

He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, previously earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He lives in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles and in his spare time enjoys bass guitar, photography, hiking, and language study.
